Health Services Mission Statement

By working for and with the Federally Recognized Indian Tribes and Urban Indian Programs within the State of Michigan, the I.T.C. Health Services Division plans for and implements programs that help to elevate the health status of Indian families.

The Health Services Division of the I.T.C. is organized to provide technical assistance and consultation to the Federally Recognized Indian Tribes within the State of Michigan in the following areas: health and human services system planning, program evaluation, resource development, networking, advocacy and liaison activities, quality assurance, programming, communication, orientation, training and education, management information systems, and health and human services legislation education.
