Job Summary:

Provide infants and toddlers ages 0-3 with appropriate child development services. Ensure the safety and well being of children at all times. Attend to the appropriate needs of the children, including diaper changes, feeding and outdoor activities. Promote a safe, healthy environment for young children. Serve as bus monitor on a rotating schedule. Ride the bus for entire route and maintain orderliness. Assist children safely on and off the bus.

Salary & Benefits: Excellent fringe benefit package of fully paid health insurance (BCBS), fully paid disability and life insurances, 401k retirement plan, paid leave and paid holidays. We are a qualified employer for public service loan forgiveness. CDA pays $12.82 per hour. Associates pays $13.64 per hour. If you don’t have the necessary education, we will provide education to the successful applicant to qualify for CDA.

Job Specifications:

Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent required OR successful applicant must be willing to obtain CDA credentials after hire. Associates degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Operational knowledge of appropriate and acceptable discipline for children necessary. Must be of high moral character. Must enjoy working with young children. Preference given to qualified Native Americans and current or past parents of Early Head Start/Head Start children.
