Microsoft Teams Meeting

Developed by the National Indian Child Welfare Association, Positive Indian Parenting has been taught for over 35 years and was designed to help caregivers remember Indigenous parenting teachings and practice them.  In this 8-week class, we will discuss examples of Native caregiving strategies and teachings and discuss how to apply those teachings and values today.

Eligibility includes NHBP Tribal Members, Spouses, and Descendents, Caregivers of Michigan Tribal Youth, and Members of Other Federally Recognized Tribes.  Elders are warmly invited and welcomed to join.
