The Healthy Native People Coalition The Healthy Native People Coalition is a collaborative network dedicated to improving health outcomes for American Indian populations through Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) change. The coalition brings together internal and external stakeholders committed to shared learning and collective action. JOIN US FOR THE HEALTHY NATIVE PEOPLE COALITION Fruit and Vegetable Incentive Voucher & Produce Prescription Programs – Expanding access to nutritious foods. Food Service Guidelines – Promoting healthier food environments. Community Landscape Design for Safe Physical Activity – Creating spaces that support active lifestyles. Commercial Tobacco Cessation and Control – Reducing tobacco-related health disparities. Adult Vaccinations – Increasing access to immunizations for disease prevention. The coalition focuses on key areas that directly impact community health, including: By working together, the Healthy Native People Coalition strives to create lasting, communitydriven changes that support healthier lives for Native populations. MEETINGS The meetings will be the third Thursday of the month from 2pm-3pm EDT. Topics will rotate on a quarterly basis. Q&A with a seasoned dad Meet our featured parents Married for 24 years, Lexie and Jennifer Keshick are proud parents of 7 and grandparents of 11. They live on the Hannahville Indian Reservation and are deeply involved in supporting their community. Lexie is a Peer Recovery Coach Supervisor and Tribal Council member, Jennifer also works for the Tribe. Together, they lead the Fatherhood/Motherhood is Sacred program, focusing on healing families, strengthening relationships, and restoring the heart of Indigenous parenting. Being a dad doesn't come with a manual, but this workshop comes pretty close. Whether you're expecting your first child or just want to feel more confident in your role, this workshop is here, so you don't have to figure it all out alone.
