SAULT STE. MARIE, MI — Twelve federally recognized tribes in Michigan are fighting for at least $23 million in federal grants clawed back by the Trump administration.
The nonprofit Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan has appealed the cancellation of two grants by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as part of President Donald Trump’s purge of the federal government of anything connected to DEI – diversity, equity and inclusion policies. READ MORE
