Jiimaan Journey

June 27 – July 20, 2026

Starts in Chicago, Illinois

Ends at the Straits of Mackinac, Michigan

Participants will be canoeing from Chicago to the Straits of Mackinac.  The purpose of this journey is to reconnect tribal nations with traditional routes of community, ceremony, and trade.
