About Chad Everett:
Chad Everett is a hands-on professional with extensive experience in sustainability as well as energy auditing, quality assurance inspections, diagnostic testing in a variety of residential energy programs. In addition to developing and delivering several of Slipstream’s technical and building science training courses, he performs in-field quality assurance inspections. He distills technical information and client requirements to energy auditors, inspectors, crews, and subcontractors to ensure quality work and effective collaboration. He enjoys measuring things and diagnostic testing but delivering safe, comfortable, and efficient homes to happy clients is his passion.

Webinar Description
Join us for the first webinar in ITCMI’s energy assessment learning series. In this introductory webinar, participants will learn what a residential energy audit or assessment is and how it can help identify opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, health, and safety in the home. We will introduce different types of energy assessments, explain who performs them, and discuss how these services support energy-saving improvements and workforce development opportunities. Whether you are a homeowner, community representative, or someone interested in energy careers, you will gain a practical introduction to an energy assessment.
Target Audience:
Anyone who lives in a dwelling, works with residents, or is interested in becoming a residential energy auditor or assessor. Tribal leaders, staff, and professionals who are interested in clean energy development, funding opportunities, workforce development, and energy sovereignty.
The webinar series has been submitted to Building Performance Institute (BPI) for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for approval and is currently under review. Upon approval, CEUs will be submitted for eligible individuals.
