  • Teen Health Fair APRIL ITH, 2025 Rudyard Jr/Sr High School is excited to partner with the Chippewa County Health Department to host a Health Fair on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the high school gymnasium. This event will provide students in grades 8-12 with valuable education on important health-related topics that impact their daily lives and future well-being. This is an annual event that rotates around the region for area students. Students will rotate through various stations covering essential topics such as: -Skin care and sun safety -Drug and alcohol prevention -Nutrition and healthy eating habits -Safe driving practices -Mental health awareness -And more! If you or your organization would be interested in setting up a booth or leading a presentation, please contact Kinsey Cappellani at the Chippewa County Health Department or Cara Kuenzer at the Rudyard Area Schools Wellness Center.

  • The Healthy Native People Coalition The Healthy Native People Coalition is a collaborative network dedicated to improving health outcomes for American Indian populations through Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) change. The coalition brings together internal and external stakeholders committed to shared learning and collective action. JOIN US FOR THE HEALTHY NATIVE PEOPLE COALITION Fruit and Vegetable Incentive Voucher & Produce Prescription Programs – Expanding access to nutritious foods. Food Service Guidelines – Promoting healthier food environments. Community Landscape Design for Safe Physical Activity – Creating spaces that support active lifestyles. Commercial Tobacco Cessation and Control – Reducing tobacco-related health disparities. Adult Vaccinations – Increasing access to immunizations for disease prevention. The coalition focuses on key areas that directly impact community health, including: By working together, the Healthy Native People Coalition strives to create lasting, communitydriven changes that support healthier lives for Native populations.
