The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians is partnering with Mid-Michigan Honor Flight organizations to coordinate a special Native American Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.
The mission will provide 75 Native American veterans and 75 guardians with an all-expenses-paid 3-day trip to visit our nation’s memorials and honor their military service and sacrifice.
Fundraising efforts are currently underway to support this special opportunity, with the flight anticipated to take place in 2027, on dates yet to be determined.
The goal is to bring together Native American veterans from Michigan’s Tribal Nations to recognize and honor their service. Apply today!
